Steve Hill

Head of Production

Overseeing and being involved with all aspects of production and engineering Steve has over 30 years experience in Film, TV and Audio production with specialisation’s as a Director, Steadicam operator and Digital Special Effects supervisor.

He has over the years worked internationally with most of the UK Broadcasters and many of the major film studios. Steve’s broadcast background has allowed BMM to develop a portfolio of services specifically developed for the ‘real world’ needs of todays production companies and corporate customers. He is also responsible for Blue’s R&D endeavours in the fields of advanced camera robotics and there in-field usability, specialist grips development such as our new carbon tube crane system “The Reach” bespoke Studio / Rack design and build and our aerial drone systems.

Joe Hill

Director of photography

As a director of photography Joe manages his own teams and projects, taking lead in most script to screen projects. When it comes to live, Joe has accrued hundreds of hours being behind the camera and operating the vision mixer at live events. Another string to Joe’s bow is his diploma in safety management, ensuring that Blue always operates within proper safe working guidelines. Lastly Joe is our Resolume Arena 7 and Qlab media server operator, making him versatile and a valuable member of Blue’s team.
